The Belugas worked really hard to build on the knowledge of OS maps. We revisited what OS maps are, 4-figure grid references and using a ‘legend’. Then we carried out a treasure hunt using 6-figure grid references and a 1:10000 scale. The children enjoyed it and we are looking forward to using the skills again in the future.
